What started out many years ago as a bonding hobby between a step-father and his sons,
turned into a family involved Pittsburgh, PA based business. Each member of our family
has their particular role in making this company a success.
Jake’s Java was born around October 2007.
Jake --- our company image, was born in the same month but, in 2006.
He is the first and only grandson of Carl & Vicki Hauptmann and the first
and only son of Kevin & Courtney Flack (one of our sons and his wife).
Jake is too young to drink coffee at present time but, we think that he too,
will have the passion for finding the ultimate green coffee beans to bring
our fresh roasted coffee to you--- our customer.
Through Carl’s work, he has had the opportunity to visit many parts of the world.
While visiting these countries, Carl toured many coffee bean plantations.
The knowledge he brought back along with Kevin’s extensive research of these beans
and of the brokers who sell these green beans, allows us to utilize our
unparalleled expertise in our micro roasting process.
We sell the BEST quality beans and use our exclusive, cutting edge roasting technique
which releases the flavors and unique characteristics of each bean we offer.
This brings the most wonderful tasting coffee you have ever had! Our “niche” is

we will deliver it to you within days of our roasting. We can also custom roast our
