Most grocery store coffee and other so called "gourmet" coffees in a can
have inferior Robusta beans. This causes a bitter or rubbery flavor to the brew.
Additionally, these store bought coffees were possibly roasted months ago
and are most likely stale by the time the consumer buys them.
Our coffee is roasted to order for superior freshness and quality.
Coffee is a food. It is best consumed within 3-4 weeks of roasting.
Coffee should have a "roasted on" date on it (ours will)
so you know you are drinking the freshest coffee available.
You should grind coffee right before brewing to experience the optimal flavor.
Coffee beans should be stored in an airtight opaque container; not in a refrigerator or freezer.
